Top 10 coffees · 2026 · Ranked by expert rating
Burundi's Kayanza and Ngozi hillsides, on the same volcanic highlands as neighboring Rwanda, grow almost nothing but Bourbon and Red Bourbon — every one of the 11 rated Burundi coffees in our catalog is a Bourbon-variety lot, averaging 1,822m elevation. Expect bright red berry and citrus acidity, a black-tea body, and delicate florals, split roughly two-thirds washed to one-third natural.
