Fruity coffees display broad fruit notes — tropical, stone fruit, or citrus — while berry coffees specifically taste of blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, or blackberry. Berry notes are most iconic in Ethiopian natural-process coffees. Fruity notes are broader and can appear in coffees from Ethiopia, Kenya, and naturally-processed coffees from Colombia or Honduras. Both result from the coffee cherry’s own fruit compounds being preserved through careful processing. Browse our
