Founded on October 13, 2012 by Hiver van Geenhoven with friends including Wendy and James Warren. Hiver previously roasted for Barefoot Coffee Roasters in San Jose from 2009-2012. Started with a coffee shop in Santa Clara and a roastery in downtown San Jose, moving to Lincoln Avenue in 2018. Known for importing ultra-rare, micro-lot coffees through direct producer relationships.
Sourcing & Philosophy
Producer-direct, forging close relationships with farmers in coffee-producing regions. Sources ultra-rare coffees by establishing relationships in rural coffee-growing communities.
