Founded in 2007 by Ryan O'Donovan and Colby Barr along the rugged California coast in Santa Cruz. The two met at Chico State and developed a passion for specialty coffee, opening their first location in Pleasure Point. Verve remains independently owned and still roasts by hand, capturing the essence of Santa Cruz: surf, craft, and a love of life.
